• Government Liasioning:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Rays Power Infra and various government bodies at the central, state, and local levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and hearings related to renewable energy policies and regulations.
• Statutory Approvals:
  • Ensure timely acquisition of all necessary approvals, licenses, and permits for project development and operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit required documents and applications to regulatory authorities.
• Commissioning Support:
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to oversee the commissioning process of wind and solar projects.
  • Address any regulatory or compliance issues during the commissioning phase.
• Policy Analysis and Advocacy:
  • Stay updated on the latest policies, laws, and regulations affecting the renewable energy sector.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management on regulatory compliance strategies and advocacy efforts.
• Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India or abroad to engage with government stakeholders and oversee project activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience (3-7 years) in government liaisoning, regulatory affairs, or public policy roles within the renewable energy industry.
• In-depth knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and permitting processes in India.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build consensus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
